CQC local authority area data profiles
CQC produce local authority data profiles which give a picture of the health and social care system in each local authority area. They bring together data to give an indication of how different services work together.
The profiles focus on the care pathway for people aged 65 or over living in these areas. CQC originally created them to help them carry out local system reviews.
They share them with local health and care leaders to help them improve the way different parts of the system work together.
On their own, the profiles do not imply a judgement about how well systems perform. It's important to also look at a wider range of indicators and information held locally.
