Award Ceremony

Invited initially to facilitate on the innovative and ambitious World Cafe Programme of Community Events, Healthwatch's input into the scheme has steadily increased to attend every single event. Now every ward within the borough of RBWM, is due to host a World Cafe Event. Furthermore, the attendance of residents and stakeholders have increased consequently. This was recognised by (PEN) Patient Engagement Network judges who awarded the Runner Up prize to the organisers in the 'Engaging and Championing the Public Award' - the only unfinished project at the award ceremony and ONLY 6 months into its implementation. Due to this runaway success, Healthwatch are now committing themselves to being major stakeholders in future events and to be noninitiated for more awards.
