Vacancy for Lay Member for Patient and Public Engagement

Exciting opportunity to join your local NHS and to help make a real difference

NHS East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is looking for a member of the public to join the CCG as a Lay Member for Patient and Public Involvement.

This person will play an important role in making sure that local people are involved in the commissioning of health services, as well as ensuring that the CCG is meeting its statutory responsibilities with regards to equality and diversity.

Working as an ambassador for the CCG, the lay member will gather insights from patients, community groups and the wider public and use these to influence the commissioning of local services. They will also represent the interests of local people in meetings or with relevant CCG staff and support public involvement in the development and delivery of the CCG's Strategic and Operational Plans.

The person should live in the Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead or be registered with a practice in the area. For more information about the CCG and the practices it covers, please visit our website
