This year we have spotlighted what matters most to you when it comes to women’s health, residential care and new hospital planning.

We have continued to be a strong, independent voice during a time of uncertainty - reaching out to communities we don’t often hear from and ensuring the needs, experiences and concerns of local people are put at the heart of health and social care service development.

Key Achievements and Community Impact

  • Supported over 20,978 people with their health care experiences and information.
  • Published reports on women’s health, hospital planning, and residential care.
  • Engaged with underrepresented groups to ensure diverse voices influence decision-making.
  • Facilitated community participation in hospital rebuild plans and health strategies.

Community Engagement and Outreach

  • Reached diverse communities through events, faith groups, and festivals.
  • Amplified unheard voices, especially from minority and vulnerable groups.
  • Gathered feedback to improve hospital and care home environments.
  • Supported community involvement in health information review and service planning.

  • Collected feedback on NHS services, including mental health and dental care.
  • Assisted individuals with complaints and complex concerns about care quality.

Volunteer Contributions and Impact

  • Volunteers contributed 238 hours supporting inspections and community outreach.
  • Volunteers helped raise awareness and provided strategic advice.
  • Their involvement helped bring real community concerns into service improvements.

Future Priorities and Funding

  • Secures funding from the Royal Borough, with plans to sustain high-quality service delivery.
  • Prioritises maintaining influence during organisational transitions.
  • Aims to reach deprived areas and support NHS culture change.
